I found it OK, a bit unusual, but rarely pass judgement on the first listen. Certainly not as good as ETI, Psychic Wars, etc.
I have an interesting history with BOC. After a show at DCCC 12/07/83, some dumb drunk mouthed off to a psycho cop who got furious and tried to hit him with his baton, but he lost his grip oh it and it flew away, hitting me in the cheekbone and fracturing it. Got a fat settlement that ended up fueling tremendous future success. Rock and roll!
08/27/86 at The Ritz Dallas they were playing on a sort of balcony above the crowd. During Roadhouse Blues encore, Eric cracked open a beer at the opportune time, took a swig, then looked at me and dropped it straight into my outstretched hands. Some d-bag broke the rules and tried to wrest it from me after I'd completed the catch, but a ferocious head butt put an end to that. I wasn't even old enough to be in there but had my friends temporary DL.
12/14/90 I saw them at The Basement, Dallas. That place was insane - many weeknights any coin would buy a drink. The men's room was an atrocity. I was standing at the urinal in the yeller swamp, looked to my left, and there's Buck Dharma, looking profoundly disgusted, draining his urinary system next to me. I freaked out and started babbling like a moron. For some odd reason, he didn't want to interact or shake my hand at the urinal while standing in what was essentially a 120 square foot toilet. LOL!
08/18/99 at the Bronco Bowl Dallas my friend died in the parking lot while tailgating before the show. Turned out he was a ticking time bomb with a congenital heart defect. Did I miss the show? Of course not. \m/ O \m/
Since then, they've lost their edge. The last two shows, 2018 and 2019, were flat and uninspired, the latter one salvaged only by a great farewell set by UFO, who absolutely should have headlined. I expect I'll not pursue seeing them again.

The Basement had the most vile bathroom I've ever seen in Texas. RIP to your friend.
BOC are one of the most underrated bands of all time.

Much better track. That guitar solo is killer. Guess I'll have to go, uh, acquire the album and check it out. Deep Purple's new effort is in line in front of it, though. A band I was in long ago used to play a spoof version of Godzilla, reworded to fit a rather unpleasant teacher who was a carbon copy of the utterly horrifying Beulah Balbricker from Porky's. It was a hoot and made us stars for a couple of weeks. That's as far as my career as a rock star guitarist advanced, but I'd just as soon be a mere hobbyist innyhoo. Thanks for the BOC heads-up. As Judge Constance Harm once said, "I'm familiar with BOC."

BOC are one of the most underrated bands of all time. I knew someone would remember that. It was incredible. I concur on it taking the Texas title. Buck was most certainly distinctly unimpressed with it. The worst bathroom nationally I've seen was in Eureka, Colorado on the way to Animas Forks and the 4x4 delight known as the Alpine Loop. It was a porta-potty stricken by an insult I'd have thought biologically, geometrically, and physically impossible. The less said about it, the better. If my friend managed the RIP thing, it will have been the lone thing that lunatic ever did in peace. I'm pretty sure peacefulness eventually reigned, tho. He looked pretty peaceful when they hauled him off. Well, exceptin' fer the wide open eyes, clenched fists, and the relaxation of certain bodily functions.

IMO, these demonstrate why Rock ‘n Roll is a yute’s game. Cliche riffs, uninspired vocals, manufactured angst...it comes off as more like a parody than the real thing. I give it 1tbs of Metamucil pre-mix.

It is still better than the top 10 countdown today. Or anything on any awards show. All riffs have been done. I have heard nothing interesting in years. There is nothing new that can be created that hasn't already been done ACDC has a new album that is going to sound like their last 30 albums Metal bands just all keep using the same riffs Even in country it is all the same
I will take this B.O.C over all of that..

I give it 1tbs of Metamucil pre-mix. I have to look up a word perhaps once a year, and I read A LOT. Today's winner was "yute." Exactly what sort of music is a non-yute's game in your world? Rockers get old. That's life.
