I am not talking specific spots - I am simply asking what is your money goto spot and technique? Like for instance of course you see the username...

Docks - Cranks.
The reason why is because I always feel like the baiting of docks will draw in some type of bass on any given Sunday. I think that as a fish in the lake 24/7 365 you would be conditioned to this so when the bait gets scarce or disappears you still have your little panfish raiding happening with those bass easing through for snacks.

Give me some chunk rock rip rap and I’m happy. Some times of the year I prefer a long stretch like rip rap at a dam, some times a main lake point, and like yesterday, a secondary point at the funnel mouth of a creek was the juice.

Bottom line, rock is my comfort zone.

Pitching/flipping Jigs, whether its docks, reeds or sticks etc. Just feel confident in those situations, caught a lot of quality fish doing it

Jigs and big cranks on points or humps next to Creek channels. I like offshore, away from the bank beaters. Except in small lakes and ponds. Then it’s a float tube and fly rod with a gurgler/bugger combo next to weed beds in spring.

I love skipping Flukes under overhanging vegetation and docks. Even if the bite is off, skipping stuff on water is just plain fun. It's like shooting baskets or something, a sport within a sport.

That pursuit hits its apex when you see a wake take off after the bait before it's even done skipping, then it gets hammered. THAT is topwater fishing at its finest.

Isolated cover/isolated structure
Then, whatever presentation I can fish the most efficiently in/on top of/around the isolated cover/structure.

The most secluded and beautiful place I can find on any body of water. If the fish aren't biting, who cares.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

Trees or timber, lay downs is my favorite. Usually start with a jig or a spinner bait according to the conditions.

Grassy Shallows (not heavy mats, but a decent amount) in narrower creeks with a Senko!

If the lake has grass, give me deep grass anytime except Spring. No grass lakes I like open water stuff like humps, ridges, drop offs or creek bends. On really old silted in lakes I like docks. The older and more dilapidated looking the dock is, the better I like it.
