I was out there last week while on a trip to Pines. The bite was slow under sunny skies. We threw the whole box at 'em but only one thing got bit - my secret weapon, and I can't tell ya what that is.

Aw, sure I can - Road Runner Pro 2.0 jighead with Zoom Creepy Crawler twin tail trailer counted down to about 8' and retrieved slow and steady. Both white/white and white/watermelon got bit. For over a decade, that bait has come thru for us when lockjaw set in. I think it looks so much like a soft, tasty, no spines/claws/teeth little frog scootin' along underwater that the bass can't resist.

A subsurface frog presentation is my skunk killer.
