I am wanting to target some Hybrids in Lake Palestine Spillway and Neches River this week. What are some go to baits for Hybrids this time of year? What colors are good? Thanks for the help.

I use 1-2 ounce jig heads with a 4-5 inch sassy Shad. I like white Shad colored baits and so do the hybrids. I like using spoons too for white bass and hybrids. Good thing about white bass and hybrid fishing is you donโ€™t need a huge assortment of lures and colors. Anything that looks like or can mimic a Shad Is perfect. Iโ€™ve noticed sometimes size can make a big difference so I do believe in having different size spoons and swim baits. This time of year when you get into them they hit just about anything

Always match the hatch and the color should be as natural as possible .
