My wife is from Michigan, I am from the Canadian border of the top part of NY state (starring at Canada over the St Lawrence River). We keep our house 72-73 all spring summer and fall. We play a game every year to see who will be first to ask for the heat to be turned on. I usually make it to Thanksgiving, have made it as far as early to mid Dec. And yes, you can see you breath in our house. She has never been the first to ask, no matter how cold it gets! We typically put it on 68 for the Winter once it is turned on. It is a real point of pride for her. My fishing buddy ALWAYS wears a coat in our house, he claims we could hang meat in our living room in the winter.

Nah . Tried to put a harness on Loki once . Seems that they need to learn that at an early age . Glad I still have 10 fingers .

alyeska (my husky/malamute) loved the harness, used to let her pull me on some old rock skis when we had enough snow.
hr. to make a run thru town and back and she was mellow all night after. lol


when I left colorado I left her with some friends that do sled tours for tourists, she loved it.
