Marlin
Are slowly moving down from Mag Bay as the water temperatures cool. The boat has been catching Stripes Marlin up at Los Arcos, Golden Gate and San Jaime Banks. Most fish on lures and pitching live baits.
We caught 5 marlin on Sunday, 3 on Monday, 4 on Wednesday, 2 on Friday and 2 marlin and 1 sailfish today.

Dorado
Has still been stellar catching limits of Dorado, 12 Lbs to 25 Lbs fishing from in front of Solmar to as far north at Los Arcos. They are hitting anything you throw in the water, biggest fish caught on live bait.
We caught 40 dorados on Sunday, 28 on Monday, 16 on Tuesday, 25 on Wednesday, 38 on Thursday, 17 on Friday and 28 today.

Tuna
Still tough, some of the big yachts have been running 40 to 50 miles offshore getting a few nice size tuna. You know what they say about tuna fishing zero's or heroes.

Wahoo
Still a few up at Los Arcos, not many reports.

Inshore
Pangas are still getting good number of Dorado and lot of Skipjacks. Best action for the pangas at Gray Rock to the Light House.

Come on down! We are still around 55% capacity and weather is starting to cool down. The COVID is being handle very good.

From The Admirals Kitchen!
Soft Mahi Mahi Tacos with Ginger-Lime Dressing
A warm, flavorful dish filled with mahi-mahi, fresh fruit and an exotic ginger-lime dressing. Unique, yet tasteful, this recipe is inspired by the fresh seafood recipes in Mexico and Central America. Serve chips and salsa on the side.

Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
6 (3 ounce) fillets mahi mahi fillets
⅓ cup sour cream
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
¼ teaspoon ground cumin
1 dash cayenne pepper
1 large mango - peeled, seeded and diced
1 cup diced fresh pineapple
1 avocado - peeled, pitted and diced
1 jalapeno pepper, minced
6 (6 inch) flour tortillas, warmed
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the mahi-mahi with salt and pepper. Cook the fillets in the hot oil until the fish is golden brown on each side, and no longer translucent in the center, about 3 minutes per side.

Step 2
Meanwhile, whisk together the sour cream, lime juice, ginger, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper to taste; set aside. Gently combine the mango, pineapple, avocado, and jalapeno in a bowl.

Step 3
To assemble, place a cooked mahi-mahi fillet into the center of a warmed tortilla. Place a scoop of the mango salsa onto the fish, then drizzle with the sour cream sauce, and finish with a generous pinch of chopped cilantro.

COCKTAIL
CLASSIC MARGARITA
The best margarita recipe! Here’s how to make a classic margarita on the rocks with 3 simple ingredients: lime, Cointreau and tequila (no added sugar!).

Ingredients
1 1/2 ounces (3 tablespoons) tequila blanco or reposado*
1 ounce (2 tablespoons) Cointreau
3/4 ounce (1 1/2 tablespoons) fresh lime juice
Kosher salt or flaky sea salt, for the rim
For the garnish: Lime wedge

Instructions

1. Cut a notch in a lime wedge, then run the lime around the rim of a glass. Dip the edge of the rim into a plate of salt (or for a festive look, use our Margarita Salt).

2. Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with 4 ice cubes and shake until cold.

3. Strain the margarita into the glass with the salted rim. Fill the glass with ice and serve.

BEWARE: Please beware of the guys in the street selling boat charters. If you wait till the day you are fishing and go to the dock where your boat is many times people will mislead you to another boat or dock trying to put you on a boat that was not meant for you. You need to have a person guide you to your boat, who is from a reputable charter company. This way there is no confusion or misleading. Please remember when renting Sport fishing boats in Cabo that you rent your boat from reputable and established business. Walk into a fishing fleet office and ask questions about what you are getting and what are the costs. You don't want to rent boats from vendors in the streets and you do not want to book through shady websites offering you the world. Check through travel forums about reputable fishing fleets to deal with. Look for testimonials about the fleet your booking, your charter with. Ask about what will the boat be supplying? Will it include beverages or lunches? How much does it cost to fillet your catch? Check to see if charter boat is insured? Ask about getting your catch smoked? Check cost of a fishing license. These are just a few things to consider when booking your charter boat. We will be talking more about this in the next weeks fishing report. Until next time good fishing and we hope to see you in Cabo soon. Come by the office here in Cabo and get all the latest up to date fishing report.
