I got death wobble for the first time on my 06 Cummins yesterday. Bad track bar bushings?

More than likely a bad track bar. Check everything with a pry bar. Check the tie rod ends (inner outer), check the pitman arm for play as well. You should not have wobble, even without the steering damper connected. The steering damper doesn’t fix DW, it only hides the worm parts from showing up sooner.

Just bite the bullet and do the tie rods, pitman arm, track bar and ball joints all at the same time. That will eliminate all the headache of trying to track it down to one individual part.

Could be tires as well.
