I just had my boat recarpeted . Do you recommend Scotch Guard for the new carpet ? Any specific brand ? Tell me your experiences .

Having recarpeted two boats, and now the current boat I have is next, I’d say nothing will hurt, or help. It’s very durable carpet. It has plenty of UV resistance and stain resistance as it is. I just don’t know that a fabric coating is really gonna help much, if at all. But, like I said, it likely wouldn’t hurt either.
