hi thx all the support and advice 2 new problem. After taking the kill swith out I got it working as it should but would like to get it working mounted and protected. Whill fiddling trying to start and run it is not peeing anymore. check the outflow hose for blockage , all clear. And I took pic ( shown ) of model and area all around it was all scraped up like it had been dragged so not exactly sure.

It is a 15 HP Johnson guessing early 90 s as my 1988 was different shape. posting pic from phone so may take time or not work at all

TLW amongst lodels you sent I think 2 would work but i am hesitant ordering from China. Hopefully someone in US will have it.If not I will get from Cihna[Linked Image]

wow you really know your stuff. You were right on expense as this is just a help project in case i sell my boat thats more then I need or feel comfortable. Since moving to small water I don t need a 90 hp heavy boat or the truck I need to tow, The 15 would be fine for a 14-16' aluminum. Thx again and will keep the schematic .And also thx for figuring the year.
