went cold turkey 30 years ago and never looked back. My last pack was $0.90 and I thought that was a rip off.

I quit in 1979 at the age of 39. It was the hardest thing that I ever did. It took two years before they stopped smelling good to me and started stinking. I fought myself everyday of that two years to not light one up, but won that fight and never gave in. When they started stinking the fight was won, i have not had any desire for a smoke since that day.

It's only hemp. Kentucky isn't a medical or recreational state. But does allow hemp for CBD products. Ohio is medical only.

Quit 19 years ago cold turkey. It’s really simple, you just quit lighting them.

If it's in your frame-of-thought, you notice it.

I never think about cigarettes, and I rarely see/smell cigarettes in other cars, in parks, outsides restaurants or buildings, almost nowhere.

I sure was glad when they banned smoking in our office. We had a woman that smoked 3 to 4 packs a day in the office. The company made them a smoking area right outside of our 1 entry/exit door, thankfully the building was pressurized so when the door opened it didn't let the smoke in.

At a layover at the Denver airport I walked by the glass enclosure for smokers.
It reminded me of observing animals at the zoo.

How many here where in the military (ignore if you were navy or air force) and had the C-rations with 3 cigs and matches in them? I did not fall for it but many did.

My dad and his B-17 crew had to bail out over Italy during WWII and hid out with a family for 5 months. After stashing his parachute he came to the realization he had only 2 smokes in his flight jacket.
