Dad and I were able to hit Lake Fork again yesterday.

Anyone lucky enough to be on any lake yesterday knew what an amazing and blessed day it was to be fishing.

Rods used: ACC we used the 5'6" Dock Shooter Rods.
We fished with Zach Church Fearless Jigs with a Pink head, White Body, Chartreuse Green Tail.
1/4 ounce with a number 2 hook in a short stubby tie.
Some Slab Syndicate jigs in the same set up.
Some Bill Baldwin jigs with Cinnamon Body and a Royal Blue Tail.
Some PEPOP Grapefruit Limeade jigs.

If you need hand ties these guys are fantastic.

All caught fish yesterday.

We fished 3 different bridges and the bite was not near as fast as that trip I posted about last week.
Slow but steady was how the day progressed.
My guess is a combination of the warm weather and the front messed with them a bit.
Shad were not showing up like they did last trip so I am sure that was also a factor.
Also fished some Timber and Brush piles.

I concur with what Slewfoot said about the Timber bite.

We were on a bit of a time crunch because I had to get back to watch my grandson play his first ice hockey game.
He is the goalie and about to turn 10. It was pretty amazing to see him playing at the Dallas Stars center in Frisco.
They won 8-0. My grandson had a shutout in his first game.

It was a nice meat run and Mom said she wants to go the next good weather day.

We brought home 36 and I cleaned them with my new Bubba Blade Lithium Ion Cordless knife using the 9" eFlex blades that came with the kit. I know I have voiced my praise for American Angler Pro and my Rapala Lithium Ion which I have no complaints with either of them.
The Bubba Blade Lithium Ion is the cream of the crop and my Dad kept saying this knife is so awesome as he cleaned fish.
It really is amazing to clean fish with it.
The other knife in the picture we used for taking the rib cages out. Bubba makes that one as well.

Crappie Fishing with Dad and Ice Hockey with my grandson.

What an amazingly blessed day of memories.

Tight Lines to All. fish

Hope you enjoy the pics:

I don't know how long the price will last, but the Bubba Blade Lithium Ion kit normally $189.99 is selling for $109 at the moment on Amazon. I think I paid $149 if I remember correctly.

Comes with 4 sets of blades, 2 batteries, Charger, and carrying case.
