They were going to come week before last, but some were under the weather. So, we rescheduled to today. They arrived at 9:50 am, and we were on the water by around 10 am and fished until 5 pm. Results: We caught 168 fish: 160 whites, a nice hybrid, 5 cats including about a 4 lb Op and 2 keeper yellow bass.

Details: It started out very windy out of the north with west Texas sand in the air looking like fog. We had to fish the protected water along the north shoreline of the Clear Creek arm of the lake. We didn't find fish at Saint Annes Points East and West, Swing-set Hump, and East Hump. We did find fish at Flagpole Point, 60 Acre Hump, and #13. Pat (Filetmaker) caught the hybrid at Flagpole and caught the Op at 60 Acre Hump. Fish moved around a lot on all these humps, so we had to re-find them frequently. Around 2 pm we were at about 50 fish caught, then the wind died some, so we took on the choppy open water and motored up to Kevin's Point. We caught a few there then checked out Iron Wall Hump, but none there. Eased on out to Slide Hump and found a large school on the bottom in 23 to 25 fow. We caught a bunch there, but after an hour or so they moved around and played hard-to-find. So, we headed farther north to Spillway Hump. We found multiple bottom-hugging schools there and fished at 4 spots. One of the schools contained all dinks and small yellow bass. The other spots held some good fish, and we finished up our trip there.

Lures used: Todd used Mepps #2 amost the whole day. but did switch to #3 late to prove they worked. Pat, David and I used Mepps #4 and #2, and Pat also used the Bo-blade I think it is called.

My wife and I were painting our dock and saw you guys at 60 acre hump. I did notice that you were moving around a lot. Another center console fished later and I saw them moving around a lot as well. Glad you had fun. Interesting OP. I haven't caught many of those on this lake.

Thanks Dennis! I had a great time fishing with everyone on Monday. The company was wonderful and was thankful to be included in the fish catching. I look forward to next time we meet.
