Ran to Fork the other day for a couple hours to check some spots for some upcoming trips and caught em everywhere I went! I haven't been on Fork since late August so it was exciting to get back on the lake! They were right where I though they would be and hammered 1/4 oz hand tied jigs on Limits tackle heads. Chart/white and shad colored some tipped with a minnow some not. Fished timber 14-24' deep and most fish were 10-12' down. Big fish was 2.24 on my scale. I would guess a 2.50 on a certified scale. We gained .24 one day and .26 the next last weekend on our big fish at Pines. Several 1.80-1.90 fish on my scale! Man I love fishing in the fall! My Sunday cancelled last night so I have the 18th available. Fork, Palestine, and Pines are all 3 fishing really well. If you wanna sling some fish in the boat give me a holler!
