When purchasing a lead acid battery for a TM do you choose by amp hours or reserve capacity? Thanks!

I get the largest battery I can to fit in the space I have. The largest my battery tray will fit is a group 29. Wal-mart specials group 29 deep cycle battery has a reserve capacity of 105 minutes.

So get the largest battery you can afford or fit in the space you got.

Oh and make sure it's deep cycle.

There are a lot of factors that go into how long a 12V deep cycle battery will last when operating a TM on the water before it's charge is drained.

Here is a website for more info. deepcyclebatterystore.com

I would look into getting a X2 and never look back. Almost impossible to drain these.

What is an X2 and what is the cost?

Nevermind, googled it. My pockets aren't that deep, plus the money tree is dying of Covid. I'll stick to the Wal-mart specials, thank you very much.

For the money, the Duracell 31 AGM from sam's club is the best out there. $179

I ran the Duracell 31 agm's for a few years and they are very good. No doubt but you do get what ya pay for with them.
I have no affiliation with the X2 folks but they are on a whole different level then the Duracell's.
