I make no bones about eating what I catch... and the other day we caught a Stargazer. Nicknamed the 'Meanest Fish in Creation' because of the fact that they can shock you like an electric eel and because they are also venemous (Not to mention look at that face!), the results of the catch and cook are probably not what you would expect!

Check out the "midshipman" which is sometimes caught in Southern California. Also freaky lookin

You know that is really going to be my focus going forward. Yes, snapper and sheepshead are good eating. But there are other options that are just fine. Im against the term 'trash fish.'
