I was wondering how hard it is to get a loan for an outboard motor i want to recover my boat

It is more difficult to find just a stand alone motor loan. Most lenders want boat and trailer added to the same loan so all three items are collateralized. If there is a current loan in place, it would need to be paid off with the new loan along with the additional money for the engine. If the boat and motor and currently clear, the new loan would list all three items.
