What scale do you use? I am looking for the MLF official scale that husky white one <-- does anyone know what kind or type?

Yes first one broke on me. The bottom started being loose and would just throw numbers at any movement.

I have a Brecknell, listed above, and one of these Rapala!

I use a berkley digital, pretty close and easy to use, batteries last a couple of yrs. with light use.

I had 3 Brecknell's fail on me and they have terrible customer service, always said I got them wet. The dealer I bought them from had to replace them his self. Sure won't buy anymore of them.

The one i have has a hook to put in the gills. Will that harm a fish you are going to release back into the water?

AccuCul or Rapala touch screen has always worked for me.

Not if you're careful when you slide it into their gills. I replaced the metal hook with a small plastic clip like this.

I think I bought mine at Academy for $3 but it is an offbrand. Take the metal hook off the scale by opening the O-ring and replace with this.

This is also a good scale for the money. Reads in pounds & oz or pounds & hundredths.
