I really am sorry for most of you guys here-
33 years so far on this second one and I’m very a very happily married guy-
The first one was similar to many of the ones I read here, but not this one-
It sure makes life not suck-
It is possible-
Just saying- Good on ya  It’s not all that bad

There are four phases to marriage:
1. The honeymoon
2. The middle years
3. Post menopause
4. Age 70+
At each stage things grow progressively worse and by the time you reach #4, the name calling, language and "you can't do anything right" will reach epic proportions. After 44 years, the best I can do know is to pretend I don't hear half of what she says and just ignore the other half

53 years and married at 18. I do what I want. Been to Alaska 28 trips and bought a bass boat and didn't tell her until I had to drive to Colorado to meet the seller halfway. We get along good and now I can't hear very well so I just yell WHAT? when she says something I don't want to hear.

My wife is unbearable for about 1 1/2 weeks out of the month. Then the full moon goes away and she goes back to normal. I avoid her at all costs
