Those of you who wipe down your boats when you pull out of the water, what do you use when you wipe down? Just a towel? Any cleaner? Anything special?

Just a towel is all my boat needs. Itโs 18 years old and I had it weโd sanded, polished, then ceramic coated. Nothing sticks to it now. It looks showroom fresh with a damp toweling after itโs strapped down for the ride home.
The ceramic coating I used is TurtleWax Hybrid ceramic spray. Best $20 I have spent on the boat in a while.

I keep one of The Absorber Synthetic Chamois cloths in mine and wipe it with it every time I come off the water.

I use a 50/50 mixture of water and vinegar. Cheapest way I have found, then later a little Speed wax.

Just towel dry it off coming outta the water. At home I apply either Lucas Slick Mist or BBS. I like BBS a little better.

3m Hand Glaze followed by 3m Ultra Fine Machine Polish Then wax. The results were fantastic on my 13 yr old boat. I do use Lucas Slick mist after putting it on the trailer.

I live on a gravel road. So when I get home I use a wet towel to wipe her off then it dries and I wipe it down with Lucas slick mist every single time.

I quit wiping my boat down about 6 years ago. I definitely catch more fish now that my boat isn't so shiny.
