Love fishing this time of year. Me and fishing pals Jeff and Steve hit a few spots this past week and caught plenty of nice Bluegill, Redear, and crappie. Bluegill/Redear were caught on Gulp Alive Leaches and Crickets. Crappie were caught on the Gulp Alive Crickets and jigs.. Most of our marked brush piles paid off! Fish were in 12 to 16 feet of water. Most fish were released and some were kept for the dinner table.

You guys have those river fish dialed in. Hard work pays off! Great job guys.



Side Note: How's the boat traffic and what is your prediction on the upcoming winter bite?

Curtis...Great looking chest full of fish...Do the Crappie stay that deep all winter ?

Chuck. Boat traffic was light. As for the winter prediction I think both the sunfish and crappie bite is going to be pretty good!

Thanks guys for the replies. Gitter: Yes I do. I keep pretty accurate records of all my trips which include times of best bites, locations, time of year, weather conditions, and much more! Good record keeping has paid off for me in big ways.
