Been catching some very good numbers of Rios fishing creeks and rivers. They are on the move trying to fatten up before winter. Was able of fish with my buddy Steve. Caught a bunch and Steve kept some for the dinner table. Rios ranged from 8 to 10.5 inches. Fish are healthy and full of fight. All were caught using the "Bait of Champions" WORMS ! We need the RAIN. All of my fishing holes are showing it. Catching a bunch of hungry Rios with my buddy Steve. It just don't get any better!

Thanks Gitter, TomRom, Barry, and Yesenia for the replies. Gitter: Depending on how cold the winter gets and how much rain we get. If we get a mild winter and some good rain, it will be another GREAT Rio year. If we get a cold winter with little rain, it will be a poor Rio year.



Side Note: Some of the water bodies I fish will be dry if we get a winter without much rain.
