So I have to be down around Alvin next week for work. There is a 100% chance that I will figure out some way to carve out time to get a little bit salty. Given time constraints, it may be too difficult to get all the way down to Galveston to fish the surf and the places I know around the bay.

Are there some spots on the north side of the West Bay, or even Christmas Bay that are accessible to walk in from shore?

Or is the better fishing this time of year going to be down in the surf?
