October is a tough month for Bluecatrs as we twiddle our thumbs impatiently in anticipation of what is to come. We check all our equipment and prepare our gear for the battles that are sure to come. We complete our honey-do lists and we sow the seeds of future fishing trips in the minds of our wives. We drift off into the 4th world and dream of 200 lb stringers and new personal bests. Rest assured my catfishin amigos, were 1 or 2 good cold fronts away from glory! Last year was our best year yet and we put over 100 fish over 20lbs in the boat for the first time. That might not be a lot for some of you guys but for a weekend fisherman like me it was a ton. Can’t wait for this years trophy fishing as I can finally bring my 5yr old fishing partner along for the adventures. Thanks amigos! I went ahead and installed the t-top enclosure tonight. We’re off the water for next couple of weeks and then I gotta catch a bunch of eaters for a November fish fry my wife is hosting for 50 folks. She volunteered me to catch the fish.
