Fish are heavy eating in shallow water next to drop off, Rocks or grass using my go to square bill 2-4ft diving shad color. Once u find a school... takes time... weed through the first 8 small ones and keep chunkin it there, the bigger will show up... just my pattern thus far and food for thought😉
jus get out there and try

That's a good question. I was also wondering that my self. I was on a bite like the OP said yesterday. There was 30 birds just gorging and the bass were there too. I noticed the birds were gone around 1030am. The bass were schooling and would be chasing the fish I was reeling in. It was the most fun I had in a while. I was curious if it was a morning thing. Big fish went 7.7.
