I’m gonna be somewhat vague with the tourney next weekend but I hit Pines up and man it was awesome! I love this lake in the winter. Not a lot of places you find healthy representations of both species! Been busy getting my teeth kicked in on Quachita River so this was sure a welcomed change! First fish was a 1.56 black crappie. Kept 25 and probably threw twice that many back! Fish are starting to stack up on Pines! Numbers will be best between now and Christmas and big fish will be January and February! That’s my opinion anyhow! Need to find bigger fish for next weekend but had plenty of 1.5s to 1.75s. Fun stuff but that won’t cut it next weekend! Waiting to see ACT schedule but planning some weekend Millwood trips next spring. Currently have the 18th of October and a weekday available that following week. Have some weekend and weekday availability in Nov and December. If you wanna fill the freezer and have a shot at a giant now is your time!!

This weekend is going to be fun for the TSCC! Caught fish everywhere yesterday and several good ones! I have Sunday the 18th available and could do the 21st as well and that's it for October. I have the 13th and 14th available in November. Pines is $400 for a 1/2 day and Fork and Palestine are $350 for 1 or 2 people. They're all 3 fishing great right now and the fish are super healthy looking! Man I love fall!!

Sitting in 6th with 14 pounds. Bite was tougher yesterday. Wednesday it was lights out! Day two! Have some ground to make up today! 15.71 is in the lead and 14.92 is second! Man I love tournament crappie fishing!!
