Anyone having issues launching at Coleto with it being close to 5ā€™ low? Just want to make sure Iā€™m good with a 20ā€™ boat before making the drive down there.

use to be a stump or rock about 40-50 ft from the ramp. at 4.5 feet low its prolly in play, it was an issue a few years ago.

clap Just a little lower and it'll be impossible for boats to launch there and I'll have the whole lake all to myself on my kayak. With that lake all quiet for the winter I can catch me another DD from there this year. nuts

Was there a while back. Lowest I have ever seen it. Big sand bar bout 40 feet behind launch. Fishing slow but managed a 6.2 off the main river channel rock ledge.

Here is the ramp. The poles mark the drop off. And yesterday there was sand up a couple of feet on the ramp. I launch an 18' with no trouble but be careful if you go and do not back your trailer tires near the poles.
