We have cabins at Cedar Mills October 23,24 and 25 and I would like to go after some small mouth which I have never caught. Any tips for that time of year would be greatly appreciated. I know the lake fairly well but all of my trips there have been for stripers. Line size I'm guessing around 12-14lbs?

You'll need to head east. The majority are on the other side of the lake. Small deep divers in shad and chartreuse colors should get it done.

And I thought I would have the whole lake to myself 😂.

work a jig around the rip rap on the rr trestle, north bank lipless shad should be good as well. main lake points, secondary points and laydowns.

any of the coves from the rr bridge to platter. smallies love gravel and rocks.
