Anyone have any general helpful info on Belton? Patterns working right now, etc.? Also, heading out there for first time in many years.....best ramp and any hazards?

Fishing has been tough for me there lately in fact it flat out sucks, had much better luck at lakes in the area with more stained water color.

Rogers Park is a decent ramp about mid lake. Fished a small tourney last Sunday and I only caught 5 fish, 2 keepers for about 5 pounds. Did jump off a nice 3 - 3.5 pound smallie down by the dam on a shaky head. Water ultra clear so small flouro and smaller baits if I were you.

Always tough for me this time of year til things cool off more. Then the smallies will light up.
