I dont care what there name is I just like watching all the live events (no matter who's fishing them) I just hope the new web site is easier to move around cause the FLW site ( not major league fishing) was hard to figure out.

Yeah , hate to say it but at the end of the day Boyd Duckett or who ever can't reinvent the wheel . Especially when Stan Kronke bails. Those guys that invest want to see return on the investment in short order. Be careful who you piss on trying to get to the top. A crazy virus or 08 downturn can expose you real quick . At the end of the day we need both organizations to be strong and work together for a stronger sport going forward.

Hopefully they will simplify all the cups, and names, we got BPT/MLF....then we get all the cups, the Patriot cup, Summit Cup, Winston Cup, Stanley Cup....LOL

It’s fishing, so I’ll watch when I can, just have no idea who qualifies for what and why....

Lol, I miss him...

To those complaining. It literally could NOT be any simpler now or easier to follow. There's the BPT and their Cup Events and five levels of Big 5 all under the MLF brand. The name and logo couldn't be any cleaner.

Here's the good news, all the anglers that are fishing FLW know where to go to sign up, they're creating a single website and it's all under one umbrella which will consolidate things for brands and sponsors and add even more value.

Win win across the board. Now all we have to do is wait for the new website so people will have something to complain about in January...

you miss him?, I sure don't

Is it, aren't they supposed to televise some of the secret filmed Cup events then?

Wouldn't it make more sense to do a Cup event after every two tour events, and show it live also? This delaying to show the results is very 1990's bassmaster where you had to wait weeks and months for the the magazine and TV show to come out with the results and winning pattern.

Until all tournaments realize and care that their format kills between 25-50% of the weighed bass, and almost all don’t make it back to the area they were caught, they all need to find a better way to run the tournaments.

Based on your made up numbers our lakes would have been void of all bass years ago.

More like 2.5-5.0 percent. Maybe not even that many fish die.

Far fewer die from a ride in a livewell for a few hours than those that ride in a Home Depot bucket to the freezer.

I wouldn't count Boyd Duckett out just yet. The man knows how to build a business and has proven it time after time. He built a tank trailer rental business with 11 locations and sold it before he became one of the most successful music industry managers in all of country music.

If they wanted to change, that is their prerogative but they should have in year one not year two. I wish them well but they honestly cannot get out of their own way, one minute they are finally a real sport because they do not pay entry fee's, now in year three they pay them again, one minute live wells are bad, now they have their guys raiding the minor league system with five fish and live wells. If they would cut out their own arrogance, no one would call them out.
