For race fans, this should be fun. NASCAR is going road racing at Circuit of the America next year. I have been to this track many times for motorcycle racing and believe it will be a great road race venue for NASCAR. It is one of the finest tracks in America.

I'm looking forward to this. Also the All Star race is going to be held at Texas next Year. The one I'm having a difficult time understanding is making one of the Bristol races run on dirt??? Just don't see these cars preforming well on dirt. We shall see.

I am so excited for this race. I saw Kurt Busch race against a rally car out there one day. It was awesome.
The stock cars have been out there pretty regularly doing some testing. I’m gonna have to call up my guys at the track and get my old part time gig back so I can get paid to watch this race.

Trucks were good racing at Eldora but the WoO at Bristol was great show and they were hauling arse.

Nascar is so screwed, havent had fans in the seats for 5 years or longer. Add in the bubba deal with the noose just sealed the deal. Just ran off the most loyal fans on the planet. Well done nascar. Bring back dirt at bristol? Ha, that shouold of happened 15 years ago, put those panzy azzes in a late model or a non-winged sprint instead of their mcdonalds, lowes, coca-cola, monster energy gay juice, gatoraids sponsored 4 wheeled fag machines and see how that works. Damn i need a winston cigarette and i dont smoke

I went to the late model show in Bristol when they put the dirt down. I believe it was 2000 or 2001. Great show. Believe Bloomquist won. I sat with Dale McDowell’s wife and family. They were getting so much traction and speed, some were breaking off the left rear wheels. Modified ran too. If I remember right, Wayne Brooks won it.

The ARCA series run on dirt at the Springfield Mile and at Duquoin, Illinois. Went to a modified and late model show in Duquoin one year too. Believe Bloomquist won it too.

I can't wait to see the race down at COTA. This one has been a long time coming. The ticket deposit has been made, hotel rooms are booked - I'm ready to jam!

If you've got any interest in this race, as far as attending, I'd lock it up and go next year. This could very well be a one and done with all the uncertainty about COTA's future. They just finally got caught up with their funding that comes from the state from last year, they won't be getting it for this year, and they are currently out of money. The pandemic really hammered them bad. The F1 contract expires in 2021, and as of yet, they still haven't got anything worked out beyond that, plus now you've got Miami that could fill that US F1 spot. They couldn't afford to host Indy next year, and the only reason NASCAR is coming is because SMI is putting on the race - that's like letting another dude bang your wife because you're too tired to make it happen yourself.

My only point, don't sleep on it a year if attending is of interest. You might regret holding off.

Wayne did win it in the UFO car, we were pitted next to him and running a Shaw house car at that time.

I think he’s won everything from Bristol to Arizona. Won the big modified show in Batesville I don’t know how many times.

I love the trucks on eldora, but a lot of that is because guys I race with are in rent a rides etc.

Very curious if the back marker cup teams get some of these shoes in their cars for Bristol. Also really interested to see what other series is running the same night and if the trucks run the day before or something?

I feel like the trucks the day before would have the cup guys all wanting to be in a truck so that likely wont happen or at least cup guys wont be allowed.
