I have a 2008 ranger z21 dual Axle trailer the front Axle is towed in and wearing tires bald in less than 3000 miles. I went to a dealer and ordered one they said 6-8 weeks then 3 months later they finally tell me that they can't get Ranger to actually answer them. Seems strange but does anyone know who exactly made the axles so I can go straight to them and order. Or does some one know where one is for sale I can buy this is getting ridiculous.
I even took it off and went to a local trailer shop to see if they can order me one but they are not getting anywhere either. Seems not much has changed so the axles I would thing are the same from about 2005 to current year but maybe I'm wrong. Any help would be appreciated or a lead on someone that may have one for sale.

I went to amazon on line and found what I needed for my Ranger trail trailer. Ranger promised and could not deliver. They said in stock and would be to me in 7 to 10 days. was not in stock and they can not get it. Ordered from that place on amazon and it was shipped the next day. Give it a shot can't hurt. I my hunting process I found that the trailer is Dexter products.

Found another dealer that carries the Dexter trailer parts. Pacific trailers. That part from Ranger that they told me would be in 3/4 weeks arrived at my home today. Sent them a dirty reply on the 29th about their service they must have not liked it my response. The one from Pacific arrived today as well now I have a spare

2010 520 part number 43038. I actually found it on Amazon. they said they had 16 instock. If you have the serial number Ranger can tell you the part number. Both of the ones I received had the same part number

I did a lot of research looking for them and they are made by Dexter. Even the one that I received from Ranger was a Dexter. The one I ordered from Ranger was a charge from Bass Pro Shops. I forgot that they bought Ranger so the part came from them. Might try this as well. Bill Leichliter 417 873 4941 from bass pro sent me an e-mail with this phone number. I called he did not answer and left message but he never called me back. Worth a shot.

I know this won't help you but may help someone else; I had a right rear and a front left tires wearing what I would call, "choppy". After doing measurements, I found the front axle forward on the left side about 3/4". Luckily I have a neighbor who was able to help me fix it ourselves. Tires wearing prematurely is a sign of something wrong and should be looked at more closely. Good luck

Try Mcgills in Lewisville they can build you an extra heavy axle for trailer. Had same issue replaced with stock axles and they bent also after a few years. Had Mcgills install both heavy duty axles haven’t had a problem since.

Agree on ETrailer- and very fast to get your parts shipped. I bought an axle and hub assembly from Southwest Tire and Wheel in Duncanville or South Dallas near Redbird Airport and it was a good experience also! They build the axle to your specs when you arrive to pick it up....
