Does anyone have a contact with the Tarrant County Water District police department or a Board member? Last month there was a homeowner who roped off from her dock to the point of her property and it restricted access to part of Eagle Mountain lake. I've left several phone calls to the Water District and can not get a call back. Game warden referred the complaint to them. If anyone has a contact that I can make the report to please PM me. Thanks

There is a game warder by the name fof Michael Foster. HE is also a Patrol Sargent for TCWD. I don't have a number for him, but if you use LinkedIN you can send him a message.

I've cut one before. This time the homeowner was on the beach and we had a discussion. I asked her if it was legal and she said it's been there for years. Instead of arguing, I figured I'd just report it. Going under it would've caused her more headache and I wanted to be polite.

Is that the house with the all of the blow ups in the water or the house just to the north?

2 months ago I spoke with the lake patrol about the house with a rope from their dock to to the beach creating a big swimming area. They did not seam too concerned about it. I also asked when they were going to start enforcing the ordinance about having lights on your dock at night? "Well that's a difficult ordinance to enforce", we don't have the resources to check every dock.

Last year at the big break water pipe wall by lake country the Lake Patrol was sitting behind the wall & I spoke to the officer about the dock that he was sitting at had a rope tied between to docks. I asked him if that was legal? H said that he guessed was not. I asked him if he was do anything about it, & he said probably not. The rope is gone now. not sure if someone cit it or TRWD did something about it

The store at Harbor One just added a walkway from the west parking lot to the store blocking most of that cove off.

PS There is a lot of fish around all of the floating toys in the lake at the house to the south of your pin. Wink Wink.

I can't believe the store walkway they built. They just walled off that whole area. How was that approved?

Well, as an update, I called and left a message to speak to the Police Chief. A few minutes later I was called by an officer. I emailed him all my pictures of the rope, homeowner and pin map (which I shared earlier with you). I asked for a conclusion once he investigates. Thank you Blacklab (I also have one), I'll have to check out the tip. I will update with the conclusion when I hear back from the officer. That was the first time I had fished Eagle Mountain and will be back another day. In the meantime, it's off to Sam Rayburn for a couple of weeks.
