Actually, a green sunfish.

Scientific name "Lepomis cyanellus"

Very typical for the adult green sunfish to have orange coloration on the pelvic and anal fins.

Rock bass. A green sunfish has a black spot on the side like a bluegill.

Lots of "Google" images of Green sunfish vs. Rock bass.

You can tell it's a green sunfish by the orange on the fins.

I forget...can you lip a rock bass easily? Those Green Sunfish can get huge too. The first time I caught one I thought it was a bluebass (bluegill/bass hybrid). lol.. :P
