Hey all, I promised my son-in-law a fishing trip as a birthday gift and Iām needing advice on where best to go next weekend and put fish in the boat. Had a home on Cedar Creek for some years and familiar with it but was open to other area lakes even if it meant spending the night nearby. Open to largemouth, sandies, stripers, etc. what seems to be my best choice right now? Thanks for any and all replies.

For pure fun, and numbers of big fish, I'd suggest Texoma for stripers. Baby Dolls for strippers. Doubt you want to take your son-in-law there though. LOL!!

Agree with Texoma; should be about done with the turnover
South of Texoma is either in the middle of the turnover, or just starting.
