Does this look like it's plumbed correctly?

[Linked Image]

We recently had some work done in our kitchen, new countertop, floor and new deeper sink.
The guy that did a lot of the work for us replumbed the sink and moved the disposal from the left side to the right side of the sinks. Everything seemed fine for a couple of weeks but now water is backing up into the sinks and draining slowly. When we use the disposal, it pushes stuff up out of the left sink drain. I've tried drain cleaner and a plunger but it's still no better.
Just curious if it needs to be redone or if I need my sewer line snaked.
This is the drain closest to the sewer line and no other drains in the house are backing up.

Not a plumber, but it looks to be installed the same as mine is and it works fine.

get one of these and use it on the left side.

do not put grease in disposal or drain, use some draino or other opener once a month or so, run hot water when using the disposal (keeps any greasy stuff soft so it will run out).

looks right as far as plumbing goes. p trap is is right spot as is.

Used to plumb houses a lot when I was a kid with my parents. Are the sink wells the same depth? Hard to tell from the pic. We always put the disposal on the smaller well if not the same size.

Just went and bought one of these. The auger will not fit through the sink strainer.

Go through the kitchen cleanout, if it has one, or remove the p-trap and go that route.

Or better yet, call a licensed plumber.

Disconnect the PVC pipes under the sink and shove the auger into the opening.

In my experience garbage disposals are a problem waiting to happen. They are fine for a couple of years and then develope leaks that you don't notice for a long time.

Take the P-trap apart and snake it out

Not a plumber but I don't see anything wrong with that.

remember to not use drain cleaner in your disposal - it will rust the [censored] out of it and cause leaks in the disposal itself.

Check your air vent and snake the drain - that probably has more to do with your issues.

Use the plunger on both sides of the sink while stopping up the other side with rag. If this doesn't open it take the tee where the disposer connects off. There is a baffle inside of it that is most likely blocked. There is nothing wrong with the connection pattern.
