So I’ve been dying to try to get on some hybrids and stripers as of the last couple weeks. I tried going out a couple weeks ago but the wind was just too strong. Anyone know what they are doing in tawokoni? I’ve never been out there, just been researching where it’s safe to run and some popular spots. Don’t run the middle of the lake, run around it. Fish the big humps located next to deep water. Throw a bigger spoon to avoid catching smaller fish (aka sandbass)
Do those all sound about right?

I would hit all of the points, sun, cloud, finger, Wolf, watch your sidescan for fish. The GPS humps are always good but trollers are always there.

Headed out tomorrow. Will start in north side of Holiday humps. Last time out Finger point was like a desert. There were fish off Tall Man but no biters. Pretty much the story of my year.

Thanks for the pointers (haha no pun intended).. Let me know how y’all do if you go out. I won’t be able to go until Saturday 😑. Hopefully the wind isn’t rocking 20+mph like it was on Sunday.

Bait bite was real slow on the humps. Marked lots of fish 18 to 33'. Fished 18, 26. 28, & 32. Water is murky. We fished all sides of humps. If wind is up try west side near the old Holiday Marina cove. South wind that is. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/10/full-6989-68359-20200930_103052.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/10/full-6989-68362-20200930_103031.jpg)

Those graphs look like you definitely found some! That’s pretty awesome, thanks for the follow up.. I’m not familiar with where the old holiday marina cove is at. That on the west wing of the lake?

West side just north of the dam ramp. Those pics were actually nothing compare to some of the black outs we saw.
