Considering going down there for a week prior and pre fishing and fishing the open as a co.
Seems like it would be a interesting experience? thoughts.
ts only $475 and its not full from what it appears.
My boat is parked here at home for the year already, by Nov 15th Ill probably be bored again.

No offense Jeff but if you prefish you will end up more frustrated than if you hadn't.
And you will certainly annoy your "pro" I can be quite... Just call it fun fishing then not pre fishing.. haha. Ill just figure out a trick worm vs ribbon tail vs senko etc. I fish a few swim baits and with three on my deck on a normal day one of them is always the one... etc. Well see Im very nervous about trying it, I have only fished in the back of two boats a guide on table rock and friend from here at fork. That said my expectations will be set very low. Id like to just take 3 rods and pocket full of stuff etc...

If the water temp is below 54 degrees, I will go on record with a guess of 1fish, 6.5 lber taking the entire event......only 2 boats will have more than 1 fish...
I don't care what you say about pro talent. Lewisville in the cold is horrible fishing

I just think it’s a gamble for a strong minded person but if you are prepared go for it ! I fished last week 65 degree water after a day of full sun already. Lakes here are small and shallow they drop fast.

the rules limit the co to 6 rods. I fished as a co at rayburn and i had one good day and one terrible day. what I will tell you from my experience is match the pace of the pro. throw something you can fish at the same pace as the pro. look to keep the boat clean and limit mistakes. If the pro is spot locked on a spot, throw something out of the back of the boat and wait. you only need to catch 3 fish. I had a great time and would encourage anyone to do the same.
