[quote=Gusick]Did you pay to go inside or just take pictures from the road? Went inside, $10 for parking and we can use reciept to get back in at no charge I've seen it more than once and there was no difference between the first time and the second. It's cool, but there isn't much reason to see it more than once. agreed, copy that.[/quote

Went there with family when I was 10... Always enjoyed seeing the Hitchcock movie North by Northwest. Great movie for any of you young guys that haven't seen it.

Beautiful place. The Black Hills are very underrated in my opinion. In my mind, South Dakota was not supposed to look like that!! Took my grandparents there about 20 years ago. One of their last vacations before they got too old to travel.

Travelling west, we saw black on the horizon of brown. Took us an hour to reach the Hills.

It is an outdoorsman's paradise though.I hunted nearly everyday as a kid.

One of their last vacations before they got too old to travel. There is a lot to do and see in that area. Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, The Badlands National Park, Custer State Park, the Needles Highway, Sturgis, Deadwood, and even Wall Drug (close to the Badlands) a drug store in a small town that has grown into a tourist stop. You can still get a cup of coffee there for 5 cents I believe. We stayed in Custer, SD on our trip because it was sort of centrally located. It was a great 5 days!
Family is everything! Life is precious. We donโt have forever. We have now. This moment. We can choose to love our lives now.
