First trip there is in October. Can anyone tell me where to trap or net mud minnows? We’re staying on the river. Also will be surf fishing.

Show respect to other boats, enjoy every day and every bite on the water you never know when it’s going to be the last.
Keep a tight line and hook baited can’t catch ‘em on credit.

I catch storm/cocahoe/bull minnow with cages usually near moving shallow water. Check ditches near the roadway as they will sometimes hold minnows. You should see them swimming before you set up the cage in the spot you chose. I find cracked crabs work well to catch them.
