We got up into pilot point creek and just kept going fishing every cedar that held fish, they were 20' down. I stay with the crappie untill 10-15, after that it gets tough, been that way for me for 25 years up there, but this is the first time I can remember the cold fronts coming in early like this. Will probably be my last trip up there for crappie till next May. Had a great year up there, and the live scope was a big part of it as I have found some old favorite trees. Freezer is full with over 500 fillets.
I went out Friday and managed to bring home 15 after 8 hours fishing. Still looking for that elusive one man limit. 😆 But I learn something from you guys every time I read your reports.
Had to do it with jigs as the little grocery store was out of minnows. The delivery guy didn’t show up.
“Livescope: (noun.) 1. A tool used by fish to frustrate the ever livin’ daylights out of fishermen.”
