Got any good pics or stories? I've had my fair share, I'll start with a run of the mill everyone has done this, smashed thumb. Was a few months ago on a property with high game fence, they had some serious heavy steel gates and the latch slammed down on my thumb. First pic right when it happened second pic last week.

I thought that gnarly thumb was a big toe.

I made the mistake once of listening to someone on using the small drill bit on the busted thumb nail. I don’t think there is any explanation for that split second of pain.

Took it out myself. Didn’t want to waste a day fishing.

3/0 trailer hook buried to the hilt by a 4 lb bass I was trying to lip. I hugged him tight till I was able to cut that hook with side cutters.
