Just bought a Skeeter with a Garmin 93sv. The previous owner mounted the transducer on the bottom step level with the bottom of the boat. Well I knocked it off today on the bunk board while loading the boat. I need to move it up. Can I mount it to the jack plate or to the step above the drain?
Any advice is more than appreciated!
Thanks!

You can. Mine are located on the step. You just won't get readings on plane.

Thank you. I still have the factory installed flasher in the dash for depth on plane. Security of my transducer means more than reading depth at speed...

I bought a Jackplate mount for my Totalscan from Transducer Shield and Saver. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/09/full-41326-68093-25_img_1281.jpg)
