My question is about finding them. I fish Ray hubbard quite a bit (unsuccessfully 😁). But when searching for these structures i have difficulty finding them. Are they mostly silted in?

The creek bed that runs from the 30 end is noticeable almost all the way to the dam . Depth finder shows it pretty well . It starts off the shallow area east of Bayside boat club . If you look at it on the Navionics website you can get a better visual of where to look .

Sometimes they can be very subtle and at times very narrow.
I enjoy mapping uncharted lakes, and what works best if you have the time, is to grid scan the upper end of the arms and lakes. I use a sonar log/chart generating software program when I get home; but you could get a rough idea of the creek channel by dropping waypoints on it.

I have found however, that it’s the bends, where they intersect with points and other channels, trees and brush on their edges, changes is bottom hardness, and where they dig a hole in the vegetation are the most important sections of the creek channel (definitely small/defined areas of the channel are the most important)
