Trying to find more information on their VO Modular 6T. The weight concerns me as I am an old fellow. Can it be assembled at the launch point to break the weight down? Any other comments pro or con on it?

The Modular 6T is an incredible fishing boat and very easy to assemble at a launch point if need be although I never had to because I would just slide the whole boat into the back of my Tahoe and unload once I got to my destination.I purchased one from a fellow TFFer years ago just to get off the banks and it was a very stable little craft.I`m sure if you google VO Modular 6T it will bring up all the info you are looking for. thumb

Thanks for the replies! I have looked at the specs and I realize I can't block a ramp putting it together. Does it break down into three pieces-two pontoons and the seat?

on a side note: most guy`s I know that own these type boats try to avoid ramps in fact the reason they purchase them is to get away from that situation at least I know I do!

Weight of empty boat is 67 lb, any cargo or motor will add to that. Looks like they have add-on wheels separately priced so you can roll from your Parking Spot to the launch ramp. Might not be a good idea to assemble or disassemble the boat at the launch point, if it blocks off access by others that might be waiting. If you click on the photos tab at the webpage, it gives you an idea of how much weight it can handle, and also the positioning as you sit and operate. Cost is $100 less at Walmart, but they go in and out of stock pretty quickly.

I`m quite sure that anyone that owns one of these crafts would have the common sense & or common courtesy not to assemble or disassemble it while blocking off access to a public ramp.

Geez ask how many parts it breaks down into and get lectured on ramp etiquette. I will keep looking thanks for the replies.
