Do I need to lube or oil anything on my Hot Foot ? Maybe spray some WD40 on the spring or something else ? I'm 85 years old and don't want to lay down without knowing what I'm supposed to do, so some help would be appreciated.

Never test the depth of the water with both feet.

Bobby
