Good, it needs to happen! Nothing wrong with peaceful protests, but they have gotten way out of line...

About time. Soon as it is passed, I cant wait for one of those idiots to yell "they cant arrest us all" and see what happens. Will be more fun than watching Antifa beatings on YouTube.

That is just slaps on the wrists, need serious prison time. Assault an officer or civilian gets you 12 years, causing bodily harm 20 years, death 50 years or death. Destruction of public property 25 years, private property 25-50 years depending on value.

Any new law should mimic what an individual would face.
Protesting should still be respected but any time they go past that to intentionally block traffic or access goes past that line. This should also be the law in union actions.

Rioters who burn or damage are just law breakers. The law should reflect their actions the same as any other person who willfully defaces or destroys property.

They are quite entertaining. Love it when the Proud Boy's or 3%'ers show up.

Something has to be done to stop this train of mob mentality and violence that we're seeing across the country. It has well gotten out of hand to say the least, and it has momentum, which might be the scariest part of it all. Something has to break that chain. The go to reaction to something we ("we" as in any particular group) don't like can't be continually taking to the streets in complete lawlessness.

Over the years I have come to the conclusion there is no such thing as peaceful protest.
The police have been being minimized for 20 years to the point that all protest contain some level of violence.
The days of MLK type protest are long gone.
