I read she was charged with criminal trespass not resisting arrest. I wonder if the kids on the football field were wearing masks? I might watch some NFL football if they had security guards jump onto the sidelines and arrest coaches for not wearing masks. Heck even players! That could be like gladiator style!

Does it matter that the Ohio state mandate stated that if you are outside with family, and six feet from others , you don’t need a mask? Doesn’t public schools fall under state? According to a friend in Ohio this is the case. If so she had every right to to resist and stand up for her rights.

I don’t know Ohio’s laws, but I haven’t heard that it’s mandatory to wear a mask outside around your family six feet from others at a football game. I certainly haven’t heard it was an offense worth arrest.
I just can’t imagine they would be forced to wear one under those circumstances. And, if they were, the officer sure as hell should have been wearing one, which is my biggest issue with this - the illogical thought around mask wearing.

And I wear masks. I just want it known that there’s a lot of logical fallacy and hypocrisy around mask mandates.

Like I said before, she shouldn’t have resisted, but that’s not the only problem I have with this situation. Seems like it would be a citation for the safety of all involved, and the officer should be wearing a mask for sure.
