I saw a ranger get swamped by a big cruiser one time in front of Sneaky Peats. It didn’t sink but the electrical system failed and they couldn’t get it fired up. Waves were coming over the top and they had to abandon ship...they were only in 6ft of water. There were tackle boxes, plastic worm bags, life jackets, empty beer cans and cooler floating everywhere. Looked like a scene out of a movie.

In my younger days, me and some friends would dive on it just for the fun of recovering it. It is only in 30 to 40 foot of water, I would think a local scuba club would help get it up. If not, then fish the heck out of it.

Lot of current flows through there. It probably won’t be there after the nex big storm.
