Something went wrong in the trailer wheel going to the lake. Bearings gone spindle scared beyond repair. Where can I get a new torsion end for the axel? I would like one complete with bearings and hub if possible.
Thanks for any help

I don't think you can buy just an end of one, they come from the factor as a single piece. (axle wise) if the spindle is removable I'dd look at etrailer.com or a local trailer place.

Just do a search for you trailer. Or if it’s a newer boat call a dealer to see if they have the trailer stuff. The ends are splined bolted connection on the ones I’ve seen.

dobbin: If you look at the inboard side of the spindle, where it goes thru the trailing swing arm, and there's a big nut, the spindle is replaceable. If so, you need to find out who the trailer builder bought the axle from, and get a new replacement spindle. If it's welded in(many are), it's new axle time. IslandJim

It is a Ranger Trail trailer. Called Ranger they ask for trailer ID which I had. They have one in the mail to me. Arm with hub bearings and oil $130 + shipping. This may help someone else down the road.
Thanks for the reply's guys. BOAT bust out another thousand.....

Well bad news on the torsion end for my Ranger Trail trailer. The lady on the phone assured me the part was in stock, after a week when I had heard nothing from them I called. I was told by Ranger that the part was on back order and would not be to them for another 3 to 4 weeks. Why can not people just shoot you straight and not down right lie to get your money. Since Ranger sold out I see them in a downward spiral.

Did you ask them for a manufacture name and part #? If you get that you might be able to get it your self... Just a thought. lots of aftermarket options out there.

I already knew the part number as I told the lady the number. I have searched all over for one. The fish are biting cool weather and I am stuck at home because of the burned up bearings. I ordered on from Amazon of all places and it shipped today. Will be at my house on or before Oct 6.. fingers crossed
