So I only found out about this place last year and today I finally checked it out. Only 25 minutes from my house, this pond is about a quarter mile walk on a bike trail. I was surprised it has plenty of water still and is full of small bluegills. It's about 100 yards long and about 80 feet across or so. They were extremely wimpy biters at first, I had to try several things and finally caught some on a black dry fly, sunk about 10 inches below a little bobber since I gave up trying to keep it afloat. I saw no sigh of bass or catfish. They plant trout here in the winter, so I will be back and lug my little kayak. Pictures to come.

Pond gets fished very heavily! Lots of fishing pressure. I also think anything with some sort of size gets kept. Years ago I have seen nice bass in that pond. Fished it twice this year and nothing but small sunfish. Next time I fish there will be for the trout during stocking season.
